Slow Food Tucson’s Food and Film Festival

Tucson, Arizona
Thu, January 8, 2009
through Sun, January 11, 2009

Slow Food Tucson has announced its fourth annual Slow Food and Film Festival to be held from Jan. 8-11 (Thursday & Friday nights, Saturday and Sunday afternoons). It promises to be a great combination of food, film, sunshine and probably warmth for the weekend and because of limited restaurant seating and special pricing discounts for Slow Food Members, checks to reserve should be sent as soon as possible. Sorry, no charge cards are accepted.

This year, given the economic uncertainties, we have reduced the price of our all inclusive 4-day pass for Slow Food members and non-members, both for advanced purchase (checks received before Dec. 31) and regular purchase (checks received after Jan. 1). We will continue to have 2+2 packages from which you can choose any two restaurants and movie events, paired or otherwise. And we will continue to have single prices that include a meal and movie.

There are four meals (two in late afternoon and two brunches), plus three feature movies (“Dinner Rush,” “Ratatouille” and “Bottle Shock”), along with nine new film shorts submitted from more than 50 film makers around the world.

For Slow Food members the best value will be found in the Advanced Purchase, 4-Day package at $180, especially since two meal events at Cuvee World Bistro and Vin Tabla will be limited to the 40 people.

Details of the festival and order forms can be found at http://www.slowfoodtucson.org/filmfest
