Youth Food Movement at Slow Food Nation

At Slow Food Nation 2008, hundreds of young people participated in five days of activities dedicated toward building and empowering networks of students, young farmers, cooks, artisans, activists and eaters; giving them new resources; linking them with mentors in the wider food movement; and, allowing them to inspire others.

Through workshops and seed swaps, teach-ins and Eat-Ins, the message was: the fast food generation is taking it slow.
