Sponsoring the work of Slow Food Turtle Island Association to train and support Indigenous farmers in gaining USDA organic certification to increase their market value and encourage traditional Native agricultural practices.
Every month, CREDO members help to choose how to distribute $150,000 in donations to progressive nonprofit groups like Slow Food USA. With CREDO’s support in May 2021, we mobilized a dynamic network of over 115 chapters to push for radical change in our food systems. Together we created a campaign centered on food as a delicious solution to climate justice.
