Central Michigan Seed Swap featuring David S. Shields

On Saturday, Feb. 24, Small House Farm will be hosting the 8th annual Central Michigan Seed Swap at Bullock Creek High School in Midland. With over 1000 attendees from across the Midwest, this event has quickly become Michigan’s largest seed swap! This year’s event will feature a keynote presentation from historian and author David Shields who will be speaking about rare, lost and historical food plants of the Midwest. David will also be sharing stories from his 2023 book, ‘The Ark Of Taste’. This is a free admission event with seed vendors, story tellers, educational workshops and much more!
