Kids DIY Vegetable Soup for World Food Day

To celebrate World Food Day, students at Sherman Elementary School will make their own vegetable soup kits to take home and cook for their families. Observed in 150 countries to celebrate the creation of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, World Food Day promotes worldwide awareness and action for those who suffer from hunger and for the need to ensure food security and nutritious diets for all.
