Refugee Grocery Gala

Last year’s inaugural Refugee Grocery Gala has inspired a sequel, certain once again to enchant and entertain for a cause!

This year, all proceeds will go towards Fondy Food Center’s SNAP-matching program, which maximizes FoodShare dollars spent at the market. Every week, hundreds of refugees come out in droves for those exclusively Fondy farmer-grown veggies they know from back home. Program funds have dwindled, so we’re stepping up. Remember: Slow Food is “good, clean, and fair”, and we think this checks all the boxes!

We’re totally enamored by the uniquely beautiful space at Dandy, and this year they’ve generously opened their doors for free!
