Seeking Good, Clean, and Fair Food for All: Equity, Inclusion, and Justice

September 15, 2020, 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm EDT

Slow Food Columbus is again co-hosting a free lecture series with The Ohio State University’s Anthropology Public Outreach Program (APOP). Inspired by Slow Food USA’s Manifesto for Equity, Inclusion, and Justice, this autumn series draws on the collective experiences of our panelists, who will share how the themes of equity, inclusion, and justice are manifested in their work.

The first event–focusing on equity–will take place on Tuesday, September 15th, via CarmenZoom from 6-7:15pm. It is open to the public, but advanced registration is required. To register, please click this link and follow the prompts on the website. (Registration may also be completed for inclusion [October 20th] and justice [November 17th].)

Registrants may attend via CarmenZoom or via phone; either way, you must register in advance to receive the appropriate login information. For those who are unable to attend, please note that each event will be recorded and posted to our YouTube Channel. To visit our Channel and view our previously recorded events (and soon our upcoming ones), please click this link.

For any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact Slow Food Columbus Chapter Leader and APOP Lecture Series Team Leader Mark Anthony Arceño at markanthony@slowfoodcolumbus.org.
