Slow Food NYC’s Autumn Supper & Fundraiser

October 2, 2023, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm EDT


Join Slow Food NYC for our annual fundraiser, the “Slow Down,” a convivial evening of great food and wine at The Marshal, a restaurant recognized by the Slow Food NYC Snail of Approval program.

Dinner includes a delicious 3-course menu featuring locally-sourced ingredients accompanied by organic and sustainable wine pairings from Opici Wine & Spirits ( see menu options below – gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options available).


Welcome Wine: Alverdi Pinot Grigio

For the table: local burrata, apple balsamic roasted citrus compote, wood fired flatbread (vegan and GF versions available)

First Course:

seared New Jersey sea scallops, lemon beurre blanc, citrus braised endive (GF)


autumn mesclun salad, spiced delicata squash, candied walnuts, preserved cranberries, white balsamic vinaigrette (vegan, GF)

Second Course:

El Coto Organic Crianza

Choose one:

cherry braised veritas farm boneless short rib, heirloom polenta, beet infused horseradish, pickled red onions (GF)


wild Alaskan sockeye salmon, lemon caper remoulade, charred bok choy in balsamic vinaigrette (GF)


zucchini and yellow squash napoleon, basil walnut pesto, roasted eggplant, and aquafava balsamic crème (vegan, GF)


Baglio di Pianetto Ramione

Late harvest berries, gluten free shortbread crumble, aquafava chocolate mousse, raspberry dust (vegan, GF)
