This year Slow Food Chicago is partnering with Urban Growers Collective, Bungalow by MiddleBrow and Apologue Liqueurs to bring you a “Slow Drinks” Cocktail Kit filled with local, artisanal goods and Slow Food swag to enjoy alongside a special virtual event on the evening of October 22nd, 5:30-7:00pm. The event will feature a cocktail demo by Orlando Zapata of Apologue using the ingredients from the kit, alongside a discussion moderated by Midwest Slow Food Governor, Jennifer Breckner, on good, clean and fair food and an introduction to the products and makers featured in the kit. All proceeds from the kit and event will benefit Slow Food Chicago and our local partner, Urban Growers Collective. Attendance to this virtual event is free and registration is now open. Cocktail Kits will be available for purchase from Bungalow by Middlebrow October 15th – 22nd. Over the next month we’re excited to share stories of the impact that your support will have on both of our organizations and our work to support good, clean and fair food for all. We look forward to raising a glass with you in support of our Slow Food community!
Good, clean and fair food news sent to your inbox once a month, plus special announcements.
We’ll add your name to the Slow Food USA subscriber list and share with the chapter you select, if you please!
