We are Builders: September Leader Summit Workshop

We foster solidarity and cultivate relationships that help communities realize their food sovereignty goals. In this session, we’ll hear from Slow Food Chapter Leaders about how they’ve built programs within their communities. From creating and hosting unique events, to bustling Snail of Approval programs, we’ll learn what goes on behind the scenes of crafting rich community experiences.

For Slow Food USA’s September 2023 Leader Summit, we want to bring leaders throughout our network together to workshop how we can continue to nourish our connections and connect our foodways.

Over the course of four Thursdays in September, we’ll be featuring free workshops that will explore how our movement can deepen into our roles in the social change ecosystem. We are weavers, we are builders, we are storytellers, and we are disruptors. We’re excited not just to directly workshop with you, but to have individuals from the network share tips and tricks from their own experiences to help leaders throughout the network, both new and seasoned. We’re looking forward to seeing you there!
