Our 3,600 members help spread roots and branches through our 69 volunteer-run chapters, which work in their communities in the name of Slow Food. Their support inspires young gardeners and eaters through the Plant a Seed program each spring. They power up our connections across chefs, farmers, fish harvesters, eaters and policy nerds, who come together and learn from each other and build a plan to return food to a local, just and delicious place in our lives. And our members enable our talented staff to bring our movement together to do great things.⁠

The Food and Farm Policy Team sets the tone for the organization’s ongoing engagement with federal food legislation. They meet at least monthly and play critical roles in deciding which bills to support, how to educate and engage our grassroots network about food systems change, and connect us to partner organizations and coalitions.

Members of the Queer Service Provider Cohort from Cultivemos have distilled data from a previous research process evaluating responses to the question: “What does thriving as a queer in agriculture mean to you?” Tune in to the workshop to learn the key themes the cohort discovered and join a discussion on what work you can do toward these visions of thriving.⁠
