Defeat EATS Act Info Session II

The Ending Agricultural Trade Suppression (EATS) Act threatens to infringe on state’s rights to regulate agricultural products within their borders. Prompted by the Supreme Court’s recent decision in NPPC v. Ross, the EATS Act would disallow states from setting standards on the preharvest production of agricultural products. What does this mean? Among many other implications, states like California would be prohibited from setting minimum space requirements for animals in agriculture.

Help us oppose the inclusion of the Act in the farm bill. Record a quick video on your smartphone, telling your representatives in Congress you oppose this legislation – and anything resembling it. The info session will go over the provisions of the Act, the context, and the Act’s broad reaching implications.
