In celebration of World Food Day, Slow Food DC and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Liaison Office for North America invite you to a special supper to highlight the culinary, social, environmental, and economic value of beans. Join us on Monday, October 24, 2022, from 6–8 PM EDT at Equinox Restaurant, located at 818 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC.
This event is at capacity.
Inspired by the Slow Food Plant a Seed campaign, the supper will feature delicious recipes from chef Todd Gray presenting a rare cast of biodiverse bean seeds from six regions in the United States, each having a unique relationship to its land and people.
